What is the 1966 Club?

The Lynchburg Public Library was founded in 1966. The 1966 Club is a giving society for patrons who give a donation of $19.66 or more to the Friends of the Lynchburg Public Library. Your donation supports current programs including:

● Youth and Adult summer reading programs

● 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

● STEAM classes/activities

● Adult lectures, book groups, and crafts

How can I join the 1966 Club?

Click the “general donation fund” button, which will take you to a PayPal form. Donate $19.66 or more via PayPal, or write a check and drop it off at the Lynchburg Public Library. (Checks should be made out to the Friends of the Lynchburg Public Library. For more details on donations, visit our donations page.)
