City Organizations
A new mobile arts program aimed to reach members of the Greater Lynchburg community with barriers to accessing on-site arts programs at the Academy's downtown campus. Delivered through a bus, converted into a mobile classroom, the Academy will now execute offsite art instruction in various areas throughout the community.

Early Literacy Organizations
The Lynchburg City Schools Education Foundation, Inc. wants every child in our area to receive high-quality, age-appropriate books monthly from birth to age five. "You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children" - Dolly Parton

Addiction and Recovery Organizations
Outpatient addiction treatment center is dedicated to helping people overcome addiction.
In-person assistance and connection provided at the Main Library: Thursdays, 10:00 am - Noon
A recovery community organization; an independent, nonprofit corporation led by people in and supportive of recovery. The services provided are aimed at reducing the stigma that prevents people from getting help.

Virginia Employment Commission (VEC)
The VEC, a partner in the Virginia Workforce Network, is the public employment service established to assist employers in finding qualified workers and to assist workers in finding suitable jobs.
