The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide will be providing tax assistance beginning Monday, February 3, 2025.

You will need to pick up a packet and schedule an appointment for assistance.

To pick up packets and make appointments for tax assistance, you must come in person to the Community Meeting Room at the Lynchburg Public Library on the days and times listed below:

Initial packet pick up & appointments:

• Friday, January 31: 10 am to Noon
• Saturday, February 1: 10 am to Noon

Packet pick up & appointments beginning February 3:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday: 10 to 11 am

Appointments end Saturday, April 12

No Tax-Aide on:

• Monday, February 17
• Saturday, February 22
• Saturday, March 22
• Saturday, April 5

As a reminder, library staff do not work for the tax assistance program and are not trained to answer your tax questions.
